Data Moshing

Data Moshing

Data moshing (usually written datamoshing) is a video glitch technique that deletes or duplicates frames inside a compressed video file. Removing a keyframe (I-frame) makes the motion data from the next shot drag the previous image’s pixels around; duplicating motion frames (P-frames) makes the image bloom and melt in place.
